Our Cookie Approach: Minimal by Design

PagBets.org is built to be fast, private and light. As a result, this site uses no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no third-party marketing pixels for regular visitors. We do not show a cookie consent banner because there is nothing consent-worthy to set.

Technical Cookies That May Be Set

The only cookies associated with this site are strictly technical:

  • Cloudflare security cookies — our CDN may set short-lived technical cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) for bot protection. These contain no personal data and are required to keep the site secure
  • Admin session cookie (pagbet_admin) — an HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict session cookie set only when you sign in to the admin panel. Regular visitors never receive it

Affiliate Links & Third Parties

When you click an affiliate link and leave PagBets.org, the destination bookmaker's own cookies and privacy policy apply. Those sites commonly use tracking cookies for fraud prevention and marketing. We have no control over them — review each operator's cookie policy before registering.

You can always block cookies in your browser settings; the site works fully without them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I block cookies?
Yes. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. The site functions fully with cookies blocked, because no part of it depends on tracking for anything the reader sees.
What happens if I block cookies?
Nothing breaks. Pages load, the search box works, and every article is readable. The only effect is on our own aggregate traffic figures, which will undercount returning visits, and on the admin sign-in cookie, so a signed-in editor would be asked to sign in again.
Do you use advertising cookies?
No. We do not run ad-personalisation or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors. What analytics records is which pages are read, roughly where the reader is, and which links are followed.
